  Joint Field Visit at Greystones Quarry with Cheltenham Mineral Club and  (RGSC)              

                        Greystones Quarry on a mineral dump created for the purposes of mineral collecting of all age groups

                         -children must be accompanied by an adult per child . Special visits for children and guardians will be

                     organised on request.     

                   Mine sites can be dirty and dusty places contaminated with minerals and exposed mine shafts due care

                    and attention must be made at all times and Leaders remarks followed without question! When Safety

                   Equipment  is required  it must warn at all times-NO GEAR NO ENTRY!

                  Cornwall has a wonderful coastline which exposes an equally wonderful world of geological structures,  rocks

                  and features but special attention must be given to safety on large boulders and slippery surfaces and tidal dangers.
